The human need for certainty is powerful. If I had to assign it a color it would be the deep blues in this design. And like the blue in this design becomes increasingly intense until arriving at a black as intense as ink, so too does it sometimes take time to become more assured of one's conviction, of one's certitude. The more that I grew in knowledge, the less afraid I became. And so this design reminds of me of trust, and the deep breath that comes when cold water rushes over you or a shift in your changeable plot, a bold, new life chapter begins to unfold. Introducing "Blue Exhale."

Original Artist-Designed Satin Scarf

Inspired by the feeling of releasing what has been held—a study in blue, capaciousness, and deep renewal.

Layer it under a blazer, sweater, a black sun hat, or beanie to keep the pattern under wraps for a sophisticated look — or wear it fully, over an all-black outfit or some other neutral like chocolate brown so the design takes center stage.

Material Philosophy

Our choice of recycled polyester puts into practice the shift advocated by Textile Exchange: reducing dependence on virgin fossil-based synthetics by giving existing materials renewed purpose.

This recycled polyester satin was selected for its vivid color reproduction, smooth hand, lightweight movement, everyday durability, and easy care. Its elegant sheen shifts with the light, allowing the artwork to take on new depth as the scarf is wrapped and worn.

Styling note: For added stability, secure at the nape of the neck, as shown on the model, rather than under the chin. For lasting grip and stability, add a cotton or jersey undercap or a non-slip hijab crown.  

For a wide range of wardrobes: Folding and wrapping reveal different proportions of the blue, black and white sections giving the same scarf markedly different moods from one wear to the next.

A note on the material: This soft fabric lets some light through. Pair with an undercap for additional coverage.

Measuring approximately 25 × 70 inches, the scarf provides ample fabric for flowing coverage while remaining lightweight enough for comfortable everyday styling.

Crafted in lightweight satin, its smooth surface gives the artwork a bright, vivid appearance, with a subtle sheen that changes as the fabric moves.

Each scarf is produced in a limited run and printed and finished through our European production partner in Slovenia.

At 85 GSM, the fabric is substantial enough to display the artwork beautifully while remaining light and comfortable around the head and shoulders.

Its smooth satin surface brings brightness and depth to the artwork, while the subtle sheen shifts gently as the fabric catches the light and moves.
